Q/A for Childhelp @childhelp @childhelpazwings @tonyrobbins @couragefirst @adamarchuleta31. How are you affiliated with Childhelp?
Back in 2014, Tiffany Quayle asked me to give her a hand with a fashion show, getting local celebs and athletes on board. Then in 2020, Alexis Earnhardt reached out and wanted me to be her co-chair. Now, I'm in my 3rd year as chairperson, and it's been a fantastic journey!
How long have you been associated with Childhelp?
Over 8 years
"All Who Enter Here Will Find Love" is inscribed above each Childhelp door. What aspects of Childhelp do you cherish the most?
There's a lot to appreciate about Childhelp Wings. I really like how it introduces young people to various service opportunities and encourages adults to participate in philanthropic activities. The devoted staff and the sense of community at Childhelp hold a special place in my heart. Moreover, Childhelp not only assists abused children but also implements prevention programs like Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe, which educate children and help in preventing abuse.
What words of encouragement would you offer to a struggling child?
"Remember, this won't last forever. You are strong, resilient, and capable of overcoming the challenges you face. Believe in yourself and never be afraid to reach out for help or support. As you grow and heal, you'll find that you can create a brighter future filled with love, happiness, and the potential to achieve your dreams."
As Childhelp works to rebuild dreams for recovering children, what was your own childhood dream?
From a young age of 10, I began volunteering at my grandparents' church and later as a candy striper at a local hospital when I was 12. Tony Robbins once said that when you serve something greater than yourself, such as your family, community, or on a global scale, you discover a deeper purpose and create more meaning in your life. For the past 20 years, I have been fortunate to devote my time to helping others. Even when I was working, I always tried to dedicate my time to those in need. I believe that's our purpose in life. #jenarchuleta #adamarchuleta #childhelp
