My sweet Mini

Mini was a dog who had a significant impact on our lives. She came to us from a cat shelter, with her littermate premature orphans after their mother was tragically hit by a car. Despite her challenging start in life, Mini grew into a beloved member of our family. For many years, Mini lived with a collapsed trachea, a condition we managed with medication since surgery wasn't an option for her. Despite this health issue, she enjoyed her life to the fullest. Mini loved going for walks and bones. One of Mini's favorite activities was basking in the sun or on a heating pad purchased just for her. She wasn't overly fond of snuggling, but the moments when she did choose to snuggle were special. Mini's passing marks the end of an era, as her littermate Mickey passed away two years ago. Her presence in our lives was a gift; the memories of the joy and love she brought into our home will always be cherished. My husband said it would be a rough couple of years as our dogs got older because they were so close in age. Mini would have been 16. #minalyns
